Being an active part of our community is a cornerstone of our business and life. Whether it is sponsoring or coaching local sports teams, donating to local churches, or having events at our funeral home, we must be good stewards of our community. We held a community Live Nativity for 10 years, continue to help with Mayfair Memorial Playground rebuilding and maintenance, and serve on local non-profit boards. We hold a monthly Bereavement Support Group meeting in the October through June months, we have a Retired Flag Donation box and have a Lending Library for the community. In April of 2024, we held our first Shred Event and Food Drive, we were able to safely and securely shred people’s documents and donate a whole van full of food to Caring for Friends. We strongly believe in bettering the community through service and we have instilled the same values in our children. How can you serve the community if you are not part of the community?
