Terrie A. Fox

Terrie A. Fox (nee Cook) age 57, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on October 1st, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Edward Fox. Loving mother of Jennifer, Lillian, Rachel, Sarah, and Hannah Fox. She will also be sadly missed by her two grandchildren Christopher and Leila. She was the loving sister of Billy Cook, Linda Giannone, Sharon Walsh, Bill Devine, Elizabeth Devine and the late Thomas Cook. Terrie was born in California, to the late William Cook and Emma Devine. She spent her childhood years in Philadelphia. She attended Frankford High School. Terrie and her husband recently celebrated 40 years of marriage. While raising her children Terrie also worked full time, as a retail manager for over 20 years. After she retired, she became a full time mother, in doing so, Terrie found her passion for creating things. She started making Mother's Day baskets and Easter baskets with her sister Sharon. Everything she made was beautiful; from flower arrangements to making fine semi-precious jewelry. She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Terrie was a devoted Christian and had a strong faith in God. She enjoyed going to her Bible studies and helping the Church in any way that she could. Although she will be missed by many, Terrie was looking forward to meeting her Savior. Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family Thursday October 4, 2012 from 11:30am to 12:30 pm at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, 13500 Philmont Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19116. Her service will follow at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia would be appreciated.
