Robert McConnell

Robert C. McConnell, Sr. age 85 passed away peacefully on November 2, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Emily J. McConnell (nee Johnston). He was the loving father of Robert C. McConnell, Jr. (Kathleen) and Beth Collins (Mark) and the devoted grandfather to William and Christopher. Robert was the brother of Thomas (Joan), Louise Durante (the late Al) and the late William (Joan) and the late Elizabeth Kopchik (Pete). Robert was a graduate of Bartram High School and received his Electrical Engineering Degree and MBA from Drexel University. He was a US Navy Veteran, and was an active Mason and Shriner. Relatives, friends and members of Frankford Presbyterian Church are invited to greet his family Wednesday, November 7, 2018, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Lambie Funeral Home 8000 Rowland Avenue (At Rhawn Street). His service will follow at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. Interment and Military Honors will take place at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Robert's memory to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or the Frankford Presbyterian Church.
