Philomena K. Batschelet Obituary (1932 - 2022)

Philomena K. Batschelet age 89 passed away on May 17, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents Katharine and Cataldo DeGeorge and her sister Marie Jackson. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles G. Batschelet. She was the loving mother of Charles G. Batschelet III, (Lisa), Warren Batschelet (Barbara Hemphill) and Emily B. Ellis (Fred). She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren Katharine Dixon (Craig), Charles Batschelet (Morgan), Sarah Batschelet, Christina Batschelet, Steven Batschelet (Helen), Jeanette Batschelet, Jocelyn Batschelet, Victoria G. Bonanni, David Batschelet, great grandchildren Sierra, Jameson, Riley, Isabelle, Mia, Santino, Sofia, Valentina, Franco, Roman, Mya, sister Anna Brewin, brother-in-law James Jackson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Philomena was the past president of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary of William D. Oxley Post 133. She loved her cats, traveling, reading, watching movies, visiting family, cooking, but most of all she loved to take care of her family, especially her grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family Tuesday, May 24, 2022, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Lambie Funeral Home 8000 Rowland Avenue (At Rhawn Street), her memorial service will follow Tuesday 11:00 am at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Lawnview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to ACCT 111 W. Hunting Park Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19140 or the Willian D.
