Loretta "Candy" Green

–

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Loretta Elizabeth Green, affectionately known as Candy, was a beacon of warmth and generosity in her Philadelphia community. Born on February 1, 1956, in Philadelphia, PA, Loretta spent her life crafting a sanctuary of love and laughter in her own home. Her thoughtful nature and compassionate spirit were evident in the way she opened her doors to all, particularly during the holidays when her home was filled with the comforting aroma of her cooking. Loretta loved to cook, and her holiday meals were legendary, not just for their deliciousness, but for the way they brought people together. Her knack for collecting "treasures" and for neighborhood gossip added a unique charm to her personality, making her a beloved figure to those who knew her.

Loretta's greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren, for whom she was an endlessly loving and attentive grandmother. Her legacy lives on through her son, Richard Kane (Jenn), her son Richard Green, her cherished grandchildren Brittany Kane, Richard Kane, Jr., and Avery Green, and her beloved great-grandchildren Roberto, Emma, and Zoey. Her sisters Alice Clark (Milton), Alberta Brinich, Linda Kane, and Kathleen Hoff (Rob), also held a special place in her heart. Loretta's unwavering love and devotion to her family were the cornerstones of her life, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to be embraced by her kindness.

Loretta was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Green, her father, Andrew Kane, her mother, Pearl Kane, her brother, Andrew Kane, and her sister, Annemarie Raybold. The love and memories she shared with them remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
