Amado Millet

–

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

We pay heartfelt tribute to a spirited and witty soul, Amado Millet, known affectionately to many as Mario. Born on November 12, 1938, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Amado was a man of simple pleasures who lived his life with an abundance of joy and laughter. He passed away on February 25, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of resilience, and a unique sense of humor.

Amado spent most of his professional life as a dedicated factory worker at Sterling Paper Company, where he showcased his admirable work ethic. His passion extended beyond his work, finding joy in the roar of a car engine, the thrill of sports, and the camaraderie found in cheering for his beloved Philadelphia Phillies. A proud resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Amado was a true family man, placing his loved ones at the center of his world. His family was his pride and joy, and their happiness was his greatest accomplishment.

Amado's memory will be cherished by his sons, James and Amaro Millet. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lilia Millet, and his parents, Jose and Victoria Rivera Millet. His memory will continue to shine in the hearts of his loved ones, just as the twinkle in his eye would light up any room.

We invite all who knew and loved Amado to share their memories, stories, and photographs on his memorial page. His life was a celebration of the simple pleasures, the joy of family, and the infectious laughter that can lighten even the darkest days. Let us remember him as he was - a spirited, witty soul who made the world a little brighter with his presence.
