Terry E. Zabala Obituary (1960 - 2019)

Terry Zabala, age 59, passed away suddenly on November 1, 2019 after a short but hard fought battle with a recent cancer diagnosis. Ultimately there was a greater plan for Terry who has been blessed to be reunited with the following family members that predeceased her: Parents, William and Joan, her sister Patty, and her eldest child, Michelle. Terry was a dedicated employee of Lami Products/Jacent for over 12 years where she made many lasting friendships and loved playing fantasy football and participating in the football and March Madness pools. Terry loved spending her time outdoors or helping other people. She could be found in the warm months camping, gardening, floating in the pool, or just lounging outside with her shoes off and a cold drink in her koozie. The rest of the year she was undoubtedly helping someone setup or breakdown a party, incessantly cleaning the house or organizing everyone's calendar. She will be sadly missed by her partner of 12 years and fiance, Barry, and their blended family which includes their children, Nick, Jen (Eric), Jason (Jacqueline), Jacqueline (Adley), and their 4 grandkids: Sabrina, Brody, Grady, and Ema. Not to be forgotten, their camping and bbq companion's John and Carol. Terry will also be missed by her siblings: Billy (Kathy), Richie (Linda), Chris (Bailey), and Stephanie (Steve), her countless nieces and nephews, friends Tina, Cathy and Jim Large and their family, and finally, extended family from whence she came and grew up with, Ben, Cathy, Helen, Bonnie, and Brian (KJ). Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family Thursday evening, November 7, 2019, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Lambie Funeral Home 8000 Rowland Avenue (At Rhawn Street). Her memorial service will follow Thursday evening at 8:00 PM at Lambie Funeral Home. Interment will be private at the family's request.
